Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architectural Design at City University Malaysia is the “Professional Architect’s Foundation.” It is a rigorous degree designed for those who want to lead the design process, blending artistic creativity with the high-tech engineering required to build modern cities. This Honours program focuses on the full architectural lifecycle. You will move beyond simple drafting to master Sustainable Design, Structural Integrity, and Advanced Building Services (the “circulatory system” of a building, like HVAC and smart systems). A major focus of the degree is Digital Mastery; you will use cutting-edge BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D Visualization software to not only generate “cool ideas” but to create the precise, legal documentation needed for real-world construction. This program is the critical first step for anyone aiming to become a Graduate Architect or a Design Consultant.
