Course Overview

The Bachelor of Interior Design (Hons) at City University Malaysia is the “Professional Spatial Consultant” degree. It is a high-level program designed to turn creative visionaries into industry leaders who can manage large-scale commercial and residential projects from concept to completion. This Honours program focuses on the science of the built environment. You won’t just learn about aesthetics; you will master the “Critical Four”: Sustainability (green materials), Universal Design (accessibility for all), Safety, and Building By-Laws. The program is built for the future, training you to use Advanced Design Tech (like BIM and Virtual Reality) to solve complex problems in urban living. It prepares you to handle the legal and technical responsibilities of a Professional Interior Designer, Project Manager, or Design Consultant.
