Course Overview

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) Honours at City University Malaysia is the “Professional Specialist” degree for the most critical years of human life. It is designed to transform students into high-level experts who can lead, design, and manage educational environments for children from birth to six years old. This Honours degree goes beyond the basics of childcare to focus on Professional Leadership. You will move from “what to teach” to “how children learn,” mastering Advanced Child Psychology, Early Literacy, and Educational Management. The program covers both Formal Education (preschool and kindergarten classrooms) and Informal Care (early intervention and play-based centers), ensuring you can support the “diverse needs” of children—including those with different learning styles or developmental challenges. It is the gold-standard qualification for becoming a Senior Educator, Curriculum Developer, or Preschool Principal.
