Course Overview
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours at City University Malaysia is the “Infrastructure Leadership” program. It is designed to produce high-level professionals capable of designing, building, and managing the vital systems—from skyscrapers to transport networks—that support modern society. This program focuses on the full lifecycle of the built environment. You will master the “Civil Engineering Pillars”: Structural Design, Geotechnical Engineering (soil and foundations), and Water Resources. By integrating Sustainability and Digital Design advancements (like BIM), you will learn how to create “Green Infrastructure” that is resilient to climate change. While the degree is centered on civil works, it provides a unique “Mechanical Cross-Exposure,” giving you the technical versatility to manage complex projects involving Advanced Manufacturing and Project Management. This prepares you for the high-stakes responsibility of being a Project Engineer, Structural Consultant, or Infrastructure Manager.
