Course Overview

The Diploma in Civil Engineering at City University Malaysia is the “Infrastructure Builder” program. It is designed to turn students into high-level Civil Engineering Technicians who can bridge the gap between an architect’s vision and the physical reality of bridges, roads, and buildings. This program is heavily focused on Technical Problem-Solving. You will move beyond theory into the practical “nuts and bolts” of the industry through intensive Laboratory Work and Structural Design projects. You will learn to use physics and mathematics to ensure structures are not only “cost-effective” but also “green” and sustainable for the future. A major highlight is the Industrial Attachment, where you leave the classroom to gain real-world experience on active construction sites, working alongside professional engineers.
