Course Overview

The Foundation in Arts (Communication) at City University Malaysia is the “Launchpad” for students who want a career involving people, media, and influence. Think of this as a “Taster Year” before you commit to a specific degree. It bridges the gap between high school and university by introducing you to the basics of Mass Communication (Media), Journalism (News), Corporate Communication (PR), and uniquely, Applied Psychology (Human Behavior). This variety allows you to figure out if you prefer being in front of the camera, writing the news, or understanding the psychology behind why people buy things. It is the direct entry route to a Bachelor’s degree in any of these fields.
