Foundation Secondary School Certificate (SPM):
A minimum of five subjects with a "Credit" grade, including Mathematics and at least one science subject, is required for the SPM, SPMU, or GCE O-Level certification. 		Linguaskill: 140 and above
IELTS: 4.0 and above
Diploma i) A-Level Certificate: Success in three subjects, including Mathematics and one physical science subject;
ii) Recognized Diploma (Level 4 according to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework - MQF): In a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
iii) Recognized Foundation or Matriculation Program: With a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
iv) Other Qualifications: Recognized by the Malaysian Government. 		Linguaskill: 154 and above
IELTS: 5.0 and above
Bachelors i) A-Level Certificate: Success in at least three subjects, including Mathematics and one physical science subject;
ii) Recognized Diploma (Level 4 according to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework - MQF): In a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
iii) Recognized Foundation Program: In a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
iv) Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent: Pre-university qualifications, which may vary for some disciplines. 		Linguaskill: 154 and above
IELTS: 5.0 and above
Master i) A bachelor’s degree in a related field from an international university with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, with exemption from any qualifying exam if applicable;
ii) At least 6 months of work experience in the same field after graduation (if required by the program);
iii) Achieving a grade of at least B in the final core course (such as design, research, or project - depending on the field);
iv) Passing a portfolio assessment or interview (if required);
v) Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL score of at least 600 or IELTS score of at least 6.0 or an equivalent. 		Linguaskill: 169 and above
IELTS: 6.0 and above
PhD i) A master's degree in a related field (Level 7 according to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework - MQF) or an equivalent degree accredited by the university;
ii) Obtain approval from the university council.
Direct Admission to PhD (for exceptional cases):
- Bachelor's graduates (Level 6 according to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework - MQF) can be directly admitted to PhD programs (Level 8) under the following conditions:
- Obtaining a first-class bachelor's degree or its equivalent; or
- A CGPA of at least 3.67 or its equivalent;
- Passing an internal evaluation by the university;
- Obtaining approval from the university council.
Doctoral Research Pathway:
- No direct admission from a bachelor's degree to a doctoral program.
- Master’s students can apply for a transfer to a doctoral program if they meet the following conditions:
- Application within one year (for full-time students) or two years (for part-time students) after registering for the master's program.
- Proof of research competency through a thorough evaluation by the university. 		Linguaskill: 169 and above
