Course Overview

The Diploma in Graphic Design at City University Malaysia is a “Studio-First” program. It is designed for creative thinkers who want to move beyond just “making things look pretty” and start using design to solve complex communication problems. Instead of just sitting in lecture halls, you will spend your time in a Studio Environment, working on hands-on projects that bridge the gap between 2D Design (like posters and branding) and 3D Concepts (like packaging and spatial design). In your second year, the training becomes more advanced; you will learn to think like a Creative Director, making strategic decisions about who your Audience is and which Medium (print, digital, or environmental) will tell your story most effectively.
