Course Overview
The Master of Electrical Engineering (By Coursework & Research) at UNITEN (Universiti Tenaga Nasional) is the “Best of Both Worlds” program. It is a Hybrid (Mixed Mode) degree designed for engineers who want structured learning and the chance to explore a specific problem deeply. Unlike the full research master’s (which is solitary) or the full coursework master’s (which is just classes), this program gives you balance. You will attend advanced classes in Electrical Power or Communication Systems to upgrade your technical knowledge, AND you will complete a Dissertation (Research Project). This is the perfect choice if you want to become a Subject Matter Expert in your company or if you are considering a PhD but want to “test drive” research first without committing 3 years to it.
